Gary Zimnki: This guitar was patterned after a 1938 Gibson L7. 24 3⁄4" scale. Curly maple back and sides. Sitka spruce top. Ebony fretboard, bridge, and peghead veneer. Maple neck. Depth at the edges: 3 1⁄2". Hand-crafted, chrome-plated bronze tailpiece.
Wingert Guitars: Steam Punk! Koa and German Model F - Inspired by Steampunk art and especially furniture desigin, I took a few risks (and a lot of time) to develop a method of 3D construction. The multilayered effect of the design is a knockout. Rough and tough, smooth and pretty, everything you would want in a one-of-a-kind piece of functional art.
This is a Gerber Guitar. It is a curly Koa / Italian spruce guitar with a Ryan style beveled armrest, ribbon rosette, custom paua amarello purfling and decorations.
